Introducing JoyRocks

Meet The Founder (Then...And Now)
Melissa Foss is a New York City–based fashion and beauty expert whose work has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Elle, Martha Stewart Living, Good Housekeeping, and Star Magazine, where she most recently served as Style Director. She is also a frequent guest on the Today Show and Good Morning America—sharing her signature mix of style insight, warmth, and authority.
An Alpha Chi Omega from Austin (Hook ’em!), Melissa is proud to build a brand that celebrates sisterhood across all NPC chapters. With JoyRocks Sorority Jewelry, she is creating a new category in sorority fine jewelry; one rooted in meaning, elegance, and the stories women write every day. She’s deeply committed to supporting women in the Greek community and prioritizes philanthropy as the brand grows.
A founder in every sense, Melissa currently wears many hats: jewelry designer, COO, creative director, and social media lead…for now.
She lives in Manhattan with her 13-year-old twins, Cordelia and Colton, and Cassie—their beloved rescue chihuahua and reigning diva of the household.
“I created JoyRocks to give sorority women the heirlooms they deserve.”
